Your eyes now sparkle and shine
Full of life and laughter
On a new found journey
To live life ever after.

I see life within your eyes
Gone is the empty stare
Instead it's replaced by
The gleaming smile you now wear.

Thinking back to your first step
Down my cheek runs a tear
The memory in my heart
I will forever hold dear.

Delight fills your spirit
Every day brings new amaze
As you discover yourself
Doing things your own way.

Your joy and happiness
Is all I need to see
To know what's in your heart
Is the love you have for me.

Go now and seek adventure
The odds you have surpassed
Setting your own path in life
